In June 2010, Girls for Plan gained official legal status as a foundation. This allows us to directly issue donation receipts for donations of €300 ore more. For donations under €300 which require a donation receipt, please contact us (see Contact section) by email.
With donations, we differentiate between a donation to our foundation capital (Zustiftung) and a direct donation to our project. In accordance with German foundation law, we do not spend contributions to our capital, but rather the revenues that it generates, for instance the interest. Thus, a donation to our capital helps our project in the long run. A direct donation on the other hand goes to the on-site project work and is not tied into the foundation.
